Preston Mui is the founding President of Hoyas for Liberty, and current President Emeritus. Besides complaining about various government shenanigans, he plays the violin and drinks coffee. If you ever want a good cup of specialty coffee, you’re welcome to join him. He studies Economics and Mathematics in the College.
Luke Young is the Vice-President of Hoyas for Liberty, responsible for next to nothing unless Preston is assassinated (so his life is pretty relaxing). He does, however, like to give long speeches that put the audience to sleep. When not shouting his proverbial soapbox, Luke involves himself in the Georgetown University Student Investors Fund, the Rotaract Club, and the International Relations Club. In hopes of one day finding a major, he meanwhile studies in the citadel of learning that is the MSB.
Katherine Propper is the events coordinator, helping to minister the club’s shenanigans. In her spare time, she films for GUTV, meeting prominent individuals who come to speak at Georgetown, and indulges in hip-hop music and its elaborate culture. She is pursuing a major in American Studies with minors in Business and Film.
Peter Ren is the website manager. Aside from with Hoyas for Liberty, you can find him chilling all over DC, whether it be telling jokes in the VCW 1Y common room, blowing up things in the chem lab, or raging all night long in Lau. He is studying Biology in the College, and hopes to go to medical school after graduation.
Mark Ye is the publicity manager. He believes that the highest purpose of government is to guarantee the well-being of its citizens; however, as governing is usually done by the few for the many, government itself is inherently undemocratic and open to abuse. Thus, he concludes that government should be streamlined, so that the least amount of abuse is possible towards the individual rights of its citizenry.
